Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College Lahore is one of Punjab's top Private Medical colleges. Students who can't get admission in Government Sector Medical Colleges or UHS Medical Colleges for MBBS and BDS courses opt to get admission in Private Sector Medical colleges.

Closing Merit in Private Medical Colleges are lower but Fee structure is very high as compared to Public sector MEdical colleges so many students can't afford Private Medical College Fee. 

Presently, 01 doctor for a Pakistani population of 2,000 and 01 dental surgeon for a population of 35,000 is available, which is much below the recommended global desired ratio of 1: 500 for doctor

Journal of Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College (JAMDC) is published as an official college journal by faculty.
