Rawalpindi Medical University Previously known as Rawalpindi Medical College RMC is one of the Top Medical colleges in Punjab. It is affiliated with UHS. The stats are provided below.

PMC has declared RMC Rawalpindi Medical College as the top national medical college by excelling in NLE National Licensing Exam for Doctors which is conducted by PMC. 

RMU has two big Campuses old Campus and New Campus (Holy Family Campus) in Satellite town. Usually first and Second-year Basic classes are taught at the Old Campus and Clinical, Wards, and Surgical classes 3, 4, and 5 Years are taught at the Holy Family campus.

Eligibility Criteria

For admission to RMU, candidates must apply through centralized admission of UHS Lahore. 

Students must have 65 % or more marks in the MDCAT Entry test conducted by PMC and 65 % marks in the Medical FSC or Equivalent exam. 

Merit List is formulated by UHS. The following Merit formula is used for calculations of merit.

  • 40% FSc 
  • 50% PMC MDCAT
  • 10% Matric

Rawalpindi Medical University

This year Open Merit MBBS seat fee Structure is provided below
  • 18,030 for 1st Year and onwards 15,030 Years without Hostel for MBBS
  • 30,000 approx. hostel charges annually
First-time Admissions charges are also to be paid by students at the time of admissions in colleges.

INSTITUTE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES RAWALPINDI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY There is a total of 125 seats (25 seats for each discipline). • Selection shall be made strictly on a merit basis by the selection committee. • There are no quota seats. • No hostel, accommodation, and transport facility will be provided
