Fatima Jinnah Medical University FJMU Lahore

Fatima Jinnah Medical University is a top-rank public sector Medical University located in Lahore. FJMU is the only medical college which is dedicated only to female medical students in Punjab. FJMU is affiliated with UHS Lahore and Each year thousands of female students compete to get admissions. FJMU not only offers MBBS but also offers Nursing courses in Punjab. 

There are three Teaching hospitals affiliated with FJMU. The list of Public sector Hospitals that are allied with Fatima Jinnah Medical College is listed below.

FJMU Admission Date 2023 

Fatima Jinnah Medical College is affiliated with UHS and Each Year UHS o[pen centralized Punjab MBBS admissions. Candidates can apply to FJMU through UHS online portal in the Colleges selection list. FJMU is only for girls and no male student can apply in it.


FJMU Seats

There are multiple vacant MBBS seats for Female Students in FJMU. The total number of Seats can increase or decrease according to UHS.

Open Merit Seats are for female students to get based on their closing merits. other quota-wise seats include Disability seats, Minorities Seats, and Underdeveloped district seats for PUNJAB. 

Eligibility Criteria

For admissions in FJMU candidates must have Punjab Domicile and only Female candidates can apply for Admissions. UHS announces the Centralized Eligibility Criteria for Medical and Dental College admission each year.  

Students must have 65 % or more marks in the MDCAT Entry test conducted by PMC and 65 % marks in the Medical FSC or Equivalent exam. 

Merit List is formulated by UHS. The following Merit formula is used for calculations of merit.

  • 40% FSc 
  • 50% PMC MDCAT
  • 10% Matric

Fee Structure 

Fatima Jinnah Medical College is a public Sector Medical college so the Fee structure is usually affordable and Cheap. Each Year there are some changes in Fee Structure which are regulated by the FUJM administration.

This year's Open Merit MBBS seat fee Structure is provided below
  • First Year fee 48,000 for MBBS without a Hostel
  • 49,000 hostel charges annually
First-time Admissions charges are also to be paid by students at the time of admissions in colleges.
