MDCAT 2024

MDCAT Entry Test Fee is 6000 Pakistani rupees which is non-refundable in any case for the year 2024. The basic Eligibility criteria is a minimum of 60% in FSC pre-medical or equivalent

MDCAT Apply

Students should visit the PMDC website and submit an online application form with a valid cell number and email address. Download the Fee challan and submit the 6000 fee at the bank.

  • Merit and FSC equivalent certificate and transcript
  • Passport-size photo with blue background

Merit Lists are formulated by PMDC. The following Merit formula is used for calculations of merit.

  • 40% FSc 
  • 50% PMDC MDCAT
  • 10% Matric

MDCAT Pattern

MDCAT Pattern is provided below
    • Biology = 68
    • Chemistry = 54
    • Physics = 54
    • English = 18
    • Logical Reasoning = 6
    Total 200 MCQs and time 2.5 hours 150 minutes. No negative marking in the MDCAT exam. Also, the exam center does not allow mobile phones, smartwatches, and electronic gadgets. Candidates must bring their admit card on exam day along with CNIC, passport Matric/FSC equivalent certificate, and 2 blue ball pens and clipboards.

    • 22 marks in FSC is equal to 1% MDCAT Aggregate
    • 4 marks in MDCAT is equal to 1% MDCAT Aggregate

    MDCAT Closing Merits 

    MDCAT closing Merit is the last aggregate that got selected in Medical or Dental College. MDCAT aggregate which is calculated after putting candidates FSC, SSC, and MDCAT marks in the MDCAT Merit Formula. For Securing Admission in MBBS in government sector medical colleges students must secure at least 90% aggregate in MDCAT. Each year the Closing merit varies in UHS, KMU, DUHS, and other medical colleges.

    • 930 FSC Marks than 191 MDCAT Marks Required
    • 900 FSC Marks than 197 MDCAT Marks Required
